April 4, 2017, Literature Museum, Tbilisi
opening of Vakho Bugadze solo exhibition – One, Two
“Understanding of a painting often needs time, artists perhaps for this reason while seeing a new work prefer to stay silent, or an exchange of opinions is over with few comments (I mean my friend artists).
Oto too, at first looked at picture silently, and I think he was looking up to the standard of artists inwardly, but then, after a while, after one or two days or a week, he started talking (what was his job and he was very good at it).
There have been cases, he has seen a painting from such an angle, which I had not thought about. It would be more precise the reverse side, which probably everything has. Many times he has made me happy by this.” – Vakho Bugadze
